Rooms over 400 square feet – go for a blade that is longer than 56 inches
Rooms up to 400 square feet – go for a blade that is between 52 to 54 inches
Rooms up to 225 square feet – go for a blade that is between 42 to 48 inches
Rooms up to 100 square feet – go for a blade that is 36 inches or smaller
